About the instructors:

Brooke Millecchia earned a B.F.A. in ceramics in 1995, which kicked off her career as a studio potter. She began teaching in 2002, working with intermediate level students to help them become independent professional potters. Millecchia’s work has been featured in solo and group exhibitions around the United States. Daisy Cooper gains inspiration for her ceramic designs from the natural world, especially during her childhood in Scotland. Now based in Melbourne, Australia, Cooper uses traditional hand-building techniques to create ergonomically shaped vessels and tableware. She believes in making timeless, well-made pieces that can be used every day and bring joy to anyone who uses them. Session One – Developing Your Skills

Brooke Millecchia is an experienced ceramics instructor and artist who helps intermediate level potters develop their skills to allow them to become independent artists. Her teaching skills are an asset to ceramicists who are ready to take their work to the next level.

Session Two – Selling Your Ceramics

Daisy Cooper recently relocated to Melbourne, Australia, where she runs the Daisy Cooper Ceramics studio. Cooper is an experienced wholesale and online seller who creates ceramic pieces that are as beautiful as they are functional.

Session Three – Marketing Your Business

Melissa Grace Farnie is the tour de force behind London-based EL AICH Designs. Pops of color, whimsy, and marketing savvy are all hallmarks of Farnie’s business.

This session will cover:

– Developing your style
– Getting media coverage
– Marketing
– Building your brand
